late to the party:: most were here before the amenities, they came for the beach and the natural beauty. the amenities add very litte, except costs Jul 11, 2015 14:22:04 GMT -5
Gets it: Doesn't, U R not serious the p Jul 11, 2015 15:59:22 GMT -5
Gets it: Correction. Jul 11, 2015 16:01:06 GMT -5
Eyes Wide Open:: Most recent villa sale in my area (June 2015) took 2 years to sell and at a $91K (20%) LOSS from the last time it sold (2005). I'd love to see 'doesn't get it' tell that poor owner (who yes, still owns here) that Horizon plan enhanced his property value. Jul 28, 2015 15:15:54 GMT -5
umm: That's because Doesn't get it REALLY doesn't get it Aug 10, 2015 15:46:23 GMT -5
Stop Beating a Dead Horse: to Eyes Wide Open: Home prices across the entire nation aren't back to 2005 levels. Why would Seabrook be any different? Did the seller do any upgrades in the 10 years since 2005? Why would someone pay a premium for a villa that is now 10 years outdated? Aug 13, 2015 13:54:41 GMT -5
WHY:: Why hasn't anyone answered Jim from Virginia's question....Why is there an extraordinary number of single family and , more so, numerous villas are for sale. Aug 17, 2015 11:53:02 GMT -5
mintjulip: If you look at the majority of inventory for sale on Seabrook, including villas and SFH's, they are very dated both inside and out. There is very little new construction (post Katrina 2005) for sale in SFHs and none in villas/condos. Aug 22, 2015 15:38:22 GMT -5
Opportunity: Check out listings for sale under community for an investment opportunity on Atrium Unit Aug 25, 2015 9:18:09 GMT -5
richardhughes: Judging from recent postings on this site, it strikes me that a little history might be of use regarding the establishment of mandatory club membership for new property owners on Seabrook Island (The Island One Initiative). Sept 2, 2015 13:17:47 GMT -5
Glenda Miller: Home prices may not have returned to 2005 levels, however, Seabroke's (sic) lag far behind the rest of the country and especially the tri-county area. Sept 5, 2015 14:24:19 GMT -5
Glenda Miller: Many condos, villas, and single family homes are "outdated" because oweners cannot afford to update their properties and pay the never-ending dues, fees, and assessments--similar to the outdated SIC facilities. How can the SIC update when it owes millions? Sept 5, 2015 14:26:41 GMT -5
Glenda Miller: No history lesson is needed regarding IO. The promises/lies about IO have been proved false. The real estate statistics demonstrate the truth! Sept 5, 2015 14:29:40 GMT -5
bike rider: My major complaint about Seabrook Island vs Kiawah Island is the fact that Kiawah is more people friendly. Our family vacations on both, and we are avid bike riders. Kiawah has wonderful bike trails, where Seabrook has extremely poor riding trails. Sept 10, 2015 9:32:05 GMT -5
Ex parttimer: It doesn't take much friendly to out friendly Seabrook. Especially toward visitors and non full time residents. If you are a southerner they treat you like you just fell off the turnip truck. Sept 10, 2015 12:13:31 GMT -5
Glenda Miller: Ex-Parttimer: These Carpetbaggers have come to save us from our stupid Southern selves, don't cha kno?! Sept 23, 2015 5:39:44 GMT -5
Proud Yankee: Dear Southerner: War's over & we will continue coming to Seabrook. We absolutely do not think all y'all r stupid either. Oct 6, 2015 14:15:25 GMT -5
macky: After riding around the island on this finally beautiful day, I was so impressed with the clean up work that has been done by SIPOA. They are to be commended. Also rode through the golf courses which are coming along amazing well Oct 7, 2015 16:19:12 GMT -5
Glenda Miller: Proud Yankee, I have nothing against Yankees, only Carpetbaggers! Oct 31, 2015 9:47:13 GMT -5
Dash Riprock: Stopped by the Real Estate office with my wife.....Was totally ignored....Unfortunate...Maybe its my Boston Irish Good Looks...Ridiculous Nov 22, 2015 7:39:56 GMT -5
